Sue Musson Sue Musson is the Managing Director of Firecracker Projects Limited.  Sue is a successful consultant and facilitator with over 15 years’ experience at director level in the public and private sectors.

Sue has worked with a range of business support organisations, Regional Development Agencies, Government departments, commercial businesses and international clients on strategy development, partnership work, procurement and performance improvement.

Sue has led complex organisations successfully, managing change and ensuring excellent performance results.  This practical experience forms the foundation for her approach as a consultant.  She is able to work with clients to understand their organisational culture, to clarify strategic aims and to recommend practical action that achieves desired results.

Sue is highly regarded for her open, constructive and diplomatic style.  Client feedback cites her effectiveness and professionalism, especially when dealing with sensitive management, performance or partnership issues.  Her practical approach and strong inter-personal skills enable her to address a range of assignments successfully.

Sue is an excellent communicator and presenter; she has been invited to facilitate and speak at many events in the UK and abroad.

Sue holds a first-class honours degree from Columbia University in New York and was a visiting student at York University.  She is also an accredited Belbin team roles assessor.

Karen Baildon

Karen Baildon Karen Baildon is an Associate Consultant and specialises in performance management and service improvement, particularly in the public sector.

Prior to becoming a consultant, Karen worked as an Audit Commission inspector, designing and delivering inspections across a wide range of service areas including economic development, procurement, planning, construction and housing.

She has assisted numerous business support organisations, local authorities and housing organisations to review and improve the quality and effectiveness of their service delivery and performance management.

Karen has held a range of senior positions in the public, private and voluntary sectors with responsibility for economic regeneration, performance, policy and strategy and European funding. 

Karen is a clear thinker with excellent interpersonal skills.  She holds an HND (distinction) in business and finance, is a national assessor for the British Quality Foundation and is an accredited Belbin team roles assessor.

Janis Dean

Janis Dean Janis Dean is an Associate Consultant specialising in regeneration, performance management and evaluation.

Janis has worked with Regional Development Agencies, local authorities, ALMOs, housing associations and regeneration partnerships.

Previously, Janis was an Associate Director with DTZ Pieda Consulting where she managed a wide variety of research studies and consultancy assignments.

Janis has a strong background in helping public sector organisations review and improve their performance, with a strong focus on customer-facing service improvement.

Janis holds a BA (hons), an MA (distinction) and an MBA and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing.

Sam Onigbanjo

Associate Consultant,

Enterprise & Business Growth Services

 

Sam Onigbanjo Sam Onigbanjo is an Associate Consultant specialising in enterprise, business growth services and business process re-engineering.

Sam has worked with a number of business support organisations and directly with numerous business start ups and established enterprises.  Sam has helped many SMEs to define their corporate and financial strategies, to raise finance and to improve their operational performance – through the use of balanced scorecard diagnostics, Six Sigma tools, cost reduction initiatives, new product launches and mentoring.

Sam has worked successfully with a range of businesses including those from the creative industry, social enterprises, faith businesses, training organisations and marketing organisations.

Sam is a personable and dynamic motivator.  He holds a BA in political science and SFEDI and TMB accreditations.  He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, the Institute of Directors and the Institute of Business Advisors.

Joe Tambe

Associate Consultant,

Management & Performance Improvement

 

Joe Tambe Joe Tambe is an Associate Consultant specialising in management and performance improvement.

Joe has 24 years’ experience working with local authorities, housing associations and other publicly funded organisations including Business Links.

Joe has helped numerous organisations assess their performance and then devise and implement service improvement plans successfully.  At a strategic level, Joe has developed performance management frameworks and assisted organisations to improve their approach to service management and delivery.

Joe is a good communicator, able to work closely with organisations at all levels and with a clear focus on delivering the customer’s objectives.  Joe has a BA Honours in Sociology from the University of Essex and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing.

Jonathan Welsh

Associate Consultant,

Research, Evaluation & Event Management

 

Jonathan Welsh Jonathan Welsh is an Associate Consultant with a strong background in social and economic research.

He has worked for a wide range of organisations including regeneration partnerships, local authorities, LSCs and Business Links helping to design and complete research and consultation exercises.

Jonathan specialises in conducting end-of-scheme evaluation studies, research into customer experiences and customer satisfaction levels and consultation exercises with individuals and businesses.  He has considerable experience in economic analysis, sector profiling and qualitative research methodologies.

In addition to his research and evaluation skills, Jonathan is highly organised and is an able facilitator and event manager. Jonathan holds a BSc honours degree and has 10 years’ professional experience.
